Know Before You Go

The Harvard Art Museums welcomes families of all ages. Please note that children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult. When you stop by our admissions desk, ask an attendant for complimentary sketchbooks and pencils to accompany your visit to the galleries. Jenny’s Cafe offers a kid-friendly menu.

For families with small children, we are happy to provide compact strollers at the admissions desk (our galleries can’t accommodate oversized or jogger strollers). We kindly ask that kids are reminded of our “look but don’t touch” rule in engaging with art. Nursing mothers are free to nurse wherever they feel most comfortable, and all of our bathrooms are equipped with changing tables. For privacy, a single-use bathroom is on Level B1.
