Cristina Morilla, conservadora-restauradora de la institución Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, impartirá la charla de hoy.
La visita es gratuita con el tiquete de entrada al museo. El cupo está limitado a 15 personas y es necesario presentar un tiquete especial. Dichos tiquetes estarán disponibles 10 minutos antes de la visita, en la taquilla del Museo.

Las visitas guiadas son ofrecidas por curadores, conservadores, investigadores y otros empleados del museo. Se concentran en aspectos particulares de las exhibiciones y el proceso de instalación y, al mismo tiempo, exploran asuntos filosóficos y prácticos relevantes. Aquellos encargados de las visitas, senalarán, por ejemplo, algunos de los argumentos que se leen en las obras, conversarán sobre las necesidades específicas de conservación, se aproximarán en detalle a diferentes obras y colecciones y establecerán relaciones entre diversas obras expuestas.
Cristina Morilla, associate paintings conservator in the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, will give today’s gallery talk.
Free with museums admission. This talk is limited to 15 people and tickets are required. Ten minutes before the talk, tickets will become available at the admissions desk.
Please meet in the Calderwood Courtyard, in front of the digital screens between the shop and the admissions desk. Museums staff will be on hand to collect tickets.
Gallery talks are offered by curators, conservators, fellows, and other museums staff; they focus on aspects of the installation process, exploring both intellectual and more practical considerations. Museums staff will, for example, tease out arguments at play in the galleries, discuss conservation treatments, look closely at specific collections, or draw connections between works of art throughout the museums.
