Naumburg Room

Tucked away behind a gallery of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish art, this two-story Jacobean-style hall is actually part of a relocated 20th-century New York City apartment that was owned by philanthropist Aaron Naumburg and his wife, Nettie. The Naumburg Room is an exclusive setting steeped in old-world luxury and rich with history. It is the perfect space for birthday and anniversary celebrations, small VIP dinners, board meetings and cocktail receptions.

The Naumburg Room is located in the Harvard Art Museums at 32 Quincy Street.

Availability: Sunday–Saturday; setup from 5:00pm, with events from 6:30pm

Capacity:
• Seated Dinner, 40
• Standing Reception, 40

Eligibility for Rental: Museums membership is not required to rent the Naumburg Room.

Ideal Event Types for This Venue:
• Small corporate receptions and dinners, board of directors and VIP events
• Small wedding receptions, birthday parties and anniversary celebrations, bridal showers

In planning your event, please be mindful that the Harvard Art Museums contain fragile and irreplaceable works of art. The primary concern must always be for the safety of the collections and the facilities that house them.
