Technical Details

Technical Observations: The patina is green with a few areas of encrustation. The object is intact. The implement was made by hammering a cast rod into shape and folding over one end to form the opening.

Published Catalogue Text: Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Bronzes at the Harvard Art Museums
The broad end of this instrument is bent to form a loop that is now filled with dirt. The undecorated, straight shaft tapers to a sharp point (1).
