On the side of the coin on the left is a man on a four-horse drawn vehicle facing left, holding a stick in his left hand, and the reins of the horses in his right. Above flies a winged woman, holding a wreath to crown the man. Below, a line under the horses, the Greek characters: H I M E P A I O N. The other side of the coin depicts a woman standing facing left, right arm outstretched pouring from a bowl onto an altar below, with swastika above. To the right, a small man baths from a lion head shaped fountain, with grain of wheat above.
