Note: Walton Brooks McDaniel gave a portion of his collection to the Department of the Classics in 1943 and the rest in 1946. The Collection is named for his late wife, Alice Corinne McDaniel.

Descriptions

Description
Small circular terracotta disk with two perforations at the top. On one side there is a rectangular stamp with the name HERA in Greek (written with a reversed rho and a half-eta to signify a rough breathing). This object was likely used as a loom weight.
