Painting of a largely sepia-toned, monochromatic courtyard interspersed with colorfully dressed individuals socializing and performing everyday tasks.

Painting of a rustic, monochromatic, and most likely French, courtyard with individuals present throughout. The buildings appear to be largely made of stone with straw, metal, or timber roofs. A young girl in a green, aproned dress pets a calico cat towards the front of the painting while a woman in a blue dress gets water from a well to the right. A man and a woman engage in conversation to the left of the painting as a man watches from an upstairs window.
