Two workers in a field playing music while another removes a yoke from a pair of oxen

In the foreground at right, two figures in a field are walking forward, facing us and holding musical instruments while singing together. At center a man is removing a yoke from a pair of oxen that stand side by side in profile. Behind the man is a plow that has just been unhitched, curving sharply into the lower left corner. In the background is a line of dark hills, behind which the sun is setting in a dimming sky. The image is contained in a long horizontal rectangle beneath which the numbers “7,8,9” are printed.
