[1] According to Stechow 1938, the work was owned by Charles Brunner. According to the inventory cards held at the INHA, the work is possibly Brunner stock 6530, purchased from Asher Wertheimer on April 24, 1912 and sold to Eymer (possibly August) on April 30, 1913.
