Descriptions

Description
Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges and a white ground layer. The fragment has a partial turn edge and tacking margin with staple holes. The fragment is painted reddish orange, extending over the turn edge and partially covering the margin. There is a thick drip of paint just beyond the turn edge.
