Descriptions

Description
Partially painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges and a white ground layer. The fragment has a turn edge with tack holes and the white ground extends to the turn edge. A layer of red paint is brush applied over the white ground. Various accretions are adhered to the paint surface.
