2014.211: Fluxus Express
SculptureThree model steam engines are mounted horizontally on the wall each placed a slight angle to the others. Each model has a pilot or cowcatcher on the front, the first two have a lantern, each have a silver banded chimney, a silver bell, a round horizontal tube on a base, and a shorter round projection in front of cabin with two windows, an open square box is at the end. The first engine reads “Fluxus Express,” the second reads “Ulan-Bator”, the third reads “Wiesbaden.”
