She has deep set eyes, slight wrinkles in the face, no smile. Her body faces three-quarter right as her head turns toward front, her left elbow rests on an arm rest. The background is undescribed, and the image is framed in ornately stamped metal inside a floral stamped leather daguerreotype case.
