Commentary
Compare to:
(1) Earthenware flask of closely related form with green lead-fluxed glaze excavated in 1982 from a Liao site at Shazigou village, Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia, now in the Aohan Banner Museum. See Zhongguo chutu ciqi quanji [Complete Collection of Chinese Ceramics Unearthed in China], vol. 4: Nei Mengu [Inner Mongolia] (Beijing: Kexue chubanshe, 2008), no. 90.
(2) Earthenware flask of similar form with green lead-fluxed glaze attributed to the Gangwa kiln in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia excavated in 1971 from a Liao tomb at Sijiazi commune, Beipiao county, Liaoning province, now in the Liaoning Museum. See Zhongguo chutu ciqi quanji [Complete Collection of Chinese Ceramics Unearthed in China], vol. 2: Tianjin Liaoning Jilin Heilongjiang (Beijing: Kexue chubanshe, 2008), no. 114.
