The lion is looking at the girl, with his left paw at his mouth. The girl is turned in profile to the left. She has long dark hair and is wearing a dress with a white ruffled pinafore and shoes with straps. The king is looking toward the lion with wide-open eyes. The unicorn is in profile to the left.
