K. Eremin, January 2014

Technical Observations: Much of the stamp is covered by green and tan corrosion and burial accretions. The pattern on the underside of the stamp is illegible due to the corrosion and accretions. The areas of exposed metal surface are smooth and range in color from dark cupritic red to green.

The object was cast in one piece by the lost-wax process. Although the surface of the object is quite worn, the waxy feel of the model, which was created directly in the wax, is preserved in the rather crude, rounded shapes.
