A black and white photograph of a seated woman looking left.

The black and white photograph shows a half-length portrait of a woman looking down and slightly to the left, she hold her right hand with finger extended across her breast. Areas of the surface are lighter gray so that around her head there appears to be a gray cloud. The shoulders of her garment appear to be a very light gray. A wavy black line divides the image just below her shoulders. Her extended hand is outlined in black. Areas of her skin are very light while other areas are very dark.
