  • inscription: old mount: Gilmor Col. Baltimore. Gilmore was father of the Rebel officer of that [?] and who travelled over Europe in the time of the French Revolution collecting the drawings and Engravings thrown upon the market. The whole was dispersed at his death. Mr. Chandler of Salem went to Baltimore to buy the drawings most which he sold to me. JWR
