The drawing in graphite on white paper depicts four figures rendered in varying detail in renaissance costume. On the far left of the page is a woman standing in profile facing left, her face turned toward the viewer. She wears a long, voluminous dress and long veil over her hair which trails behind her to her hips. To her right is a figure is sparse contoured detail, wearing a long robe. To the right of this figure is a man rendered in greater detail, standing in profile facing left-page. He wears a voluminous robe tied at the waist which ends above his ankles, exposing close-fitting leggings and slippers. He wears a hooded, brimmed head cover, and carries a sack over his right shoulder. To his right at the far right-page is a figure in sparse contoured detail facing away from the viewer, wearing a similar garment and holding a staff or cane in their left hand.
