Ink and wash drawing of a woman in an interior space with a much shorter man in the background.

The ink and wash drawing depicts an interior space with striped wallpaper and an ornamental table upon which sits a tall candle. In the foreground stands a woman with curled black hair holding a rose, looking towards the viewer. Her dress is generously trimmed with lace and flowers, with a row of small buttons on the wrist, and gathered into voluminous ruffles below the hip. She wears a large triangular hat bedecked with pearls, fabric ruffles and long, thin feathers. Behind her stands a much smaller naked man, looking in her direction.
