The drawing in graphite on tracing paper depicts two figures rendered in sparse contour under a grid. On the upper left of the page is a figures arm reaching up, visible only from the elbow. To the right and beneath the arm in a seated figure in a sleeved robe and tall hat holding a tambourine. On the right of the page is a nude female figure standing on her toes and twisting her arms above her head in a suggestion of dance.
