Descriptions

Description
Parallel sided object of thin sheet silver with numerous areas of grey to black corrosion products adhering. There is a wire loop attached to the end of the left side. The right side is broken away. Eight hammered images in relief are enclosed by a double circuit of twisted ridges. Diagonally oriented parallel ridges radiate out from these twisted ridges to the edge of the object. Hammered or pressed into an intaglio matrix.
