P1982.97: Untitled
PhotographsWhite lines are painted on rocky soil in a diamond shape, with each corner touching the edge of one side of the image. Two dark lines cross within the center of the diamond, to form an “x” whose ends reach to each corner of the image. Several wooden stakes have been posted in the ground, two within the left side of the diamond, and two more in the extreme foreground. The posts slant upward and to the right and cast horizontal shadows that intersect the painted lines.
