The black and white photograph shows a tall stone barn built into the side of a hill. The front of the barn is wooden edged with stone. One door is open. The roof is shingled, the shingles on the edge are uneven and missing in some places. There is a split rail fence in front of the barn. There is an open door and one window on the left side, another lower building is visible on the right. On the right edge the corner of another stone building is visible. A road runs from the bottom edge across to the right.
