Recorded Ownership History
Joanna T. Steichen, New York, from a storage closet at the artist's home, gift to the Harvard University Art Museums, 1991. Formerly on loan at the Fogg, 1973. This image was found by Davis Pratt in January 1973 in a storage cabinet at the artist's home in Redding, Connecticut during a weekend visit by Pratt, who purchased a number of works during that visit, when Joanna Steichen agreed to place this image on long term loan and as a promised gift.
