The black and white photograph shows a square within a square. The larger square has a dark background in the upper half that gradually fades to a lighter gray in the bottom half. The color pattern is duplicated in the smaller square which has white edge at the top. Within the smaller square are two figures. The figure on the left has a broad triangular top which extends down to a narrow passage before flaring out and forming to lines with a gray veined area between the lines. The smaller figure has a bird-shaped profile facing left, there is a white line which extends down to the right and broadens into a triangle at the bottom.
