A young man with shoulder length dark curly hair, a slight smile with unshaven face with goatee and mustache, looks beyond the viewer. The light enters from the right as it hits his face, accentuating placid eyes, realistically drawn with delicate lines. He wears a small dark cap with a plume that curls to the left, and a dark cloak of thick fabric, decorated at the neck. There is no background, only a suggestion of the man’s shadow and slight etch lines emanating from the oval edge.
