Print of figures and trees with city in the distance

The most prominent feature of this print is the grove of tall trees at foreground right. The highlights on their slim curving trunks create contrast to the dark undergrowth behind them, represented in busy, almost chaotic shading and hatching. The foreground of this image is much darker and denser than the background. There appear to be figures at the lower left corner, but it is difficult to tell for this reason. The sky above is light, with faint outlines of puffy clouds. In the distance we see outlines of buildings, one of which has a dome with a cross on top.
