The background of the print is dark rose which is applied unevenly with some lighter areas. There is an electric chair in dark rose on the left with a light gray table immediately behind it. There is a thick, light gray line across the upper part of the picture plane. There are areas of light gray on the left and right sides of the image with an area of light gray running along the lower center of the background.
