A black and white print portrays a bust-length view of a man facing to the right.

In the center of this black and white print is the bust-length portrayal of a man, who faces to the right and looks directly out of the scene. He is middle-aged, dark-skinned, and has a long mustache that stretches to his cheekbones. He wears a shirt, a fur-lined cloak that ties at the base of his neck with a cord, and a turban. He is circumscribed by a large oval, whose outer frame contains an inscription in block letters. Below the image there are two inscriptions: one in Arabic, one in Latin.
