1971.44: Mimes des courtisanes by Louys
PrintsTwo female figures looking towards the viewer. One is seated in a chair, with the other standing behind her. The standing woman wears a black choker-style necklace and has her thick dark hair in a loose bun. The woman in the foreground sits in a chair, has thick shoulder-length dark hair and is wearing a loose-fitting short-sleeved dress with a bracelet on each arm. She appears to hold an article of clothing in her right hand, her arms slightly bent inwards. The faces are rendered in loose but bold detail. Eyes are suggested with dark black ovals, with thin eyebrows and bold reddish lips and white highlights throughout the face.
