Descriptions

Description
Probably lampas damassé with brocading in gold metallic yarns (filé) and silver metallic yarns (frisé) and blue silk moiré; silver lace braid edging; trio of salmon coloured silk(?) tassels at the corners. The "damask" pattern is a kind of shadow pattern. Design of arabesque vines on the diagonal from which spring stylized flowers and fruit. Appears to be three complete panel widths.
