Descriptions

Description
A large battle scene is depicted in this drawing fragment. Armored soldiers are depicted either on foot or horseback, and are carrying shields as well as different types of weapons, such as swords, bows and arrows, and matchlock guns. Large armored elephants are rendered on either side. Rajput Style, Kota School.
