The rectangular carpet lies flat vertically and has a large, dark blue border with yellow, red, and blue geometric floral details. There are smaller detailed borders outside and inside the larger border. At the bottom center is a solid red pentagon that points up and reaches the middle of the piece. There is a small, light blue rectangle within the top point of the pentagon. Above the pentagon shows geometric details on a light blue background and a large red and blue floral pattern above it. The red and blue floral pattern have two large arrows that point down.

Warps: 2 Z spun S plied wool; alternate warps depressed. Wefts: 1 ply Z spun wool in red and light brown; 2 parallel yarns; or 2 parallel + 1 yarns; or 3 parallel yarns. Pile: 2 Z spun S plied wool. Pile colors: dark red (abrashed), orange, yellow, light green, light and dark blue (both heavily abrashed), purple, undyed ivory, corrosive black, corrosive brown. Knots: symmetrical; 50-52 knots per vertical decimeter, 26 knots per horizontal decimeter, 1300 - 1350 knots per square decimeter. Both selvedges: 3 bundles of warps wrapped with weft; 2 warps per bundle. Both ends: restored, but showing 1/2 - 1 cm tapestry weave, stripped.
