A gray green bowl with a short, narrow base, decorated with cranes and other designs

The speckled muted gray-green bowl is decorated inside and out with designs and motifs rendered in thin, flowing, off-white lines with accents in black. Inside the bowl is an overall pattern of short undulating lines like wispy clouds, and amid this an image of a crane in flight is occasionally repeated. Just below the rim is a narrow band containing interlocking triangles. A similar decorative border on the outside repeats the cranes and cloud motif. A broader band across the middle is filled with a floral leaf pattern and within this, repeated at intervals around the bowl is a circular medallion featuring a stylized chysanthemum.
