Catalogue entry no. 37 by Max Loehr:
37 Dagger-Axe with Grooved Tang
Pale bluish green jade in an advanced state of calcification. The shape is similar to Nos. 34, 35, 36, except for the neatly beveled edges and a barely noticeable median crest. The rear half of the tang is decorated with five paired ridges, which jut out at the butt. There are two conical perforations, a larger one between the shoulders of the blade, and a small one in the middle of the tang; both are drilled from the left side. Shang.
