Catalogue entry no. 330 by Max Loehr:
330 Claw-shaped Pendant
Flat, claw-shaped piece of whitish, calcified jade. The top part, with a small suspension loop projecting upward, is vaguely defined as an animal head in profile. Its eye is formed by a shallow circular depression; the remaining features are suggested by neatly incised single and double grooves. Such grooves also enliven the surfaces of the “body,” which resembles a bird’s wing rather that the body of an animal. Late Western Chou.
