254 Pair of Birds with Long Tails
Greenish buff, much calcified jade, which has largely lost is translucency. Heads and beaks are raised, so that these figures have a roughly triangular outline. The wings are marked by a volute and by grooved lines; the tails are grooved. Behind their feet these birds each have a striated, fin-like appendage. The eyes are circled by shallow depressions. Each bird has a perforation at the breast. Western Chou.
