467 Belt Hook
Cream-colored jade with light brown and gray markings, polished to a high gloss. The object is plain except for the hook, which has the shape of an exquisitely modeled animal head characterized by strong whiskers and leaf-shaped ears. The edges of the upper side are chamfered to a point below the hook; from this point upward, the chamfers continue on the underside. The transverse bar and its rounded off, rectangular button are flush with the sides. Late Eastern Chou.
