72 Jade Dagger-Axe in a Bronze Haft
The blade is comparable to No. 73 in the material and condition, if less so in its shape: the blade is flatter here, having neither a crest nor lateral facets. The bronze tang has a rectangular outline, and the décor, a turquoise inlaid zoomorphic figure, stands out clearly against the surrounding flush surface of the bronze. The rest of the tang is similar to No. 73, although the design of the mask on the butt differs. Shang.
