Catalogue entry no. 75 by Max Loehr:

75 Jade Dagger-Axe in a Bronze Halt
Mottled light gray and whitish opaque jade. The slender blade, with rather indistinct crest and facets, is attached to a rectangular bronze tang. The tang is encrusted with green oxide, except for the butt which is decorated with a zoomorphic figure executed in cloisons; the figure itself is essentially the same as seen on Nos. 71, 72 (socket), and 74. The lower part of the hafting bar is broken off and lost. A short inscription on the blade next to the bronze socket is discussed in the Introduction, section on inscriptions. Shang.
