Catalogue entry no. 107 by Max Loehr:
107 Notched, Serrate Disk
Light grayish green translucent jade with tan and whitish markings. Narrow disk with a wide perforation, its perimeter divided by notches into four arcs. From each of the arcs stand out sets of four serrations, one of the sets being much smaller than the others. Slightly conical bore-hole. Diametrically across the underside of the disk runs a deep furrow; this furrow, evidently an imperfection resulting from the sawing process, does not represent part of the design. Neither side of the disk is quite level; consequently the very uncommon feature of the disk’s “warped” body. Shang or Western Chou.
