Catalogue entry no. 573 by Max Loehr:

573 Scabbard Buckle
Heavy piece of light greenish gray jade with brown markings along the back of the animal figures; most of the surfaces are polished to a hard gloss. The slightly convex bard is decorated with a group of four dragons in the round, two of which jut over the right edge. While derived from the type of dragons seen on No. 572, the dragons of the present example differ in details of design and in their configuration. The variety of jade, too, suggests a later period. Eastern Han (?).
