316 Pair of Cicadas
Sculptures in the round, cut from small segments of a light gray stone. Eyes in relief; double transverse grooves between the head and body of each; wing contours incised by means of slanting cuts. The mouths are each marked by a deep horizontal slit; each cicada perforated from underneath its mouth. The concave backs are plain. Western Chou(?).
