A round, white porcelain jar decorated with blue designs and a floral motif

An almost ball-shaped jar has a wide, flat, circular bottom, and a wide, circular opening at the top with a short ridge that flares outward slightly. Blue designs are painted on its smooth white porcelain surface. Thin lines run along the edge of the base, and around the edge of the rim. On the body of the jar, ringing the rim, is a repeated design featuring a small three-lobed leaf. Across the middle is a peony with one short stem, topped by a large blossom at center, and a second, longer stem that wraps around the jar, ending in a smaller blossom.
