Both sides of an irregularly shaped gold coin with relief decoration on each side.

On the side of the coin on the left is the head of a man facing left, bearded, with the ear of a goat, long tendrils of curly hair fall around neck, held in place by an ivy wreath. The other side of the coin depicts an animal with the body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle facing left, holding a spear in its mouth. Below, an ear of wheat. Surrounding the edge of the coin are the Greek characters: P A N.
