  • design: Reverse type determined by process of elimination. Obverse legend occurs on ten types, of which six are sestertii (569, 573, 579, 583, 586, 591); of the four remaining issues, two are Victory types with no exergue line (522, 601). The remaining two are both Securitas types and have no distinguishing features (518 = 596).

Rev.: (Illegible except for exergue line.) Securitas, bare to waist, seated r. on throne, r. hand resting head against throne, l. hand holding short scepter; in front of her, garlanded and lighted altar, against which leans lighted torch resting on bucranium; around, [SECVRITAS AVGVSTI]; either to l. and r. or in exergue, [S C].
