Both sides of an irregularly shaped silver-gray coin with relief decoration on each side. 

On the side of the coin on the left is the head of a woman facing right, wearing a necklace, five pendant earring, hair tied up in a laurel wreath. The other side of the coin depicts a man moving to the left, right arm raised above head holding a club, bow and quiver in left hand, lion's skin wrapped around arm, attacking small birds. Along left side border are the Greek characters: ΣΤΥΜΦΑΛΙΩΝ. Between the man's legs, the Greek characters: ΣΟ.

Obv.: Head of Artemis Stymphalia, laureate and wearing earrings with five pendants.

Rev.: Herakles striding to l., striking with his club in the r. hand; bow and quiver in l. hand and lion's skin wrapped around the arm, killimg the Stymphalian birds.
