Descriptions

Description
The black and white print is grainy, producing a deeply textured image. The photograph depicts the tightly strung warp threads of a loom, cropped in to create an abstract field of diagonal lines broken by the crossing of a few intersecting horizontal threads. The interplay between the threads and the slivers of negative space around them create a rhythmic contrast of light and dark lines, which recede into gradients of grey in the background of the image.
