Dawenkou culture. From the middle and lower Yellow River valley regions; Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, and eastern Henan provinces. Commentary Compare to: (1) Small earthenware jar of very similar form excavated at a Dawenkou site at Yedian, Zouxian, Shandong province.
